The only archer. Multiple arrow types, aerial attacks and control the battlefield with bombs.
Attack is how hard their hits land.
Defence is how much punishment they shrug off, through armour, a shield or a solid guard.
Agility is how quickly they move and how quickly their hits come out.
Range is how far away they can fight from. None of it is a tier list. Every one of them wins rounds!
What they all share
Every fighter starts a round with the same health, so nobody is tankier by default. What changes is how much of a hit gets through, and that comes down to blocking and armour.
Every fighter has a basic attack chain, an air attack, a sprint attack and a dodge, and four specials that costs energy. The energy bar starts each round half full.
So the differences are all in the specials and the way the chain moves you.
That is where the Fighters pages will help!
The shared rules live in the Mechanics Guide.
Which fighter suits you?
If you have never played a fighting game, start with Kinto.
Nothing in his kit is hard to use, and his Powerballs give you something to do while you keep space and learn the arena.
If you like being in someone's face and never letting up, try Feng.
His jabs move him forward, his combos launch, and his arc kicks catch whole groups.
If you would rather take a hit than dodge one, go with Rostam.
His pure muscle allows a light attack to bounce off him, his grab will interrupt anyone caught, and his beam does massive damage.
If you want to make the other player's plan stop working, pick Valrik.
Projectiles can be reflected back at the thrower when defending with his shield, and he can easily throw enemies around the arena with his bare hands.
If you like control more than confrontation, Freya.
Shoot from range, mine the floor, and slide away when they finally reach you. She takes the most learning and gives the most back when played well.
Still not sure? Rounds are five minutes and the roster is one arrow key away on the character select. Try all four starters in a single session and we're sure one of them will click!
Unlocking the roster
Four fighters are yours from the start: Kinto, Feng, Rostam and Valrik.
Freya, and future characters, are earned.
From the character select, satisfy the unlock requirments to open the challenge, then beat them in gripping one-on-one combat on their home turf.
It is a single round, just you and them. Win and they joins your roster. Lose and you can try again!
Unlocks are saved to your account. Playing as a guest keeps them on the browser you earned them in, so log in if you want them to follow you.
Many more fighters to come!
